Mark Pressdee from Macoy Media - Producer and Director Mark has had a very busy year working on popular broadcast TV to over 30 various independent projects and films ranging from 3 – 50 minutes. From TV, Education and Art based commissions.

“It’s been a very hectic year, especially with all the travel both in UK and Europe. I have had the pleasure of working with some great people from around Europe in the industry whilst working on varied exciting projects. I am looking forward to focusing on some of my own projects next year as well as continuing my work as a Producer/Director on new and existing projects.
Due to the fact of such a hectic past few months, I have not been able to dedicate as much time to this site as I would have liked. I am looking forward to updating the website with some pictures and video clips from this years work late December upon return from my latest project.

In the meantime here are some of the many highlights from this year..."

From Ukraine to South America – Nov - Dec 2003
Mark is currently working throughout November and December on a 30-minute documentary. The second leg of the film will take Mark to ‘Peru’ in South America. “It’s a very touching documentary on some important issues relevant to world wide issues past and present. I have been filming in some sensitive and potentially dangerous areas.

Again I am using the Panasonic DVX100 camera as it has excellent camera and lens functions for such environments. I also have the luxury of using the 24p ‘HD’ mode on the camera for certain re-enactments for the film. The Ukraine footage that has now been shot looks amazing for this particular section of the documentary. In Peru I am going to use some special lens filters to contrast the two countries as one is in the midst of winter – the other in the height of summer.
